She has a pathological inability to sit still: 13 years almost constantly on the road, 72 countries, four languages, and a wine education. Blogger, mentor, and perfectionist. Every day, Alena proves that you can see a lot, achieve a lot, grow up, go through therapy, get to know yourself pretty damn well — and still not lose your appetite for life.
That’s how Travelholic Space came to be. A project very much like Alena herself: grown-up, demanding when it comes to quality, and hungry for life.
DRIVING PHILOSOPHY
At some point, you discover something funny: no one is in charge of you anymore. You can change careers, cut yourself bangs, leave the dishes for three days, spend money on a trip without feeling guilty about it. The consequences are yours too, of course. But as long as you stay within the law, there’s a surprising amount of freedom.
YOU’RE AN ADULT. YOU CAN.
WANT WIDER, NOT HIGHER.
Once you’ve already achieved quite a lot, it becomes interesting to look around, not just up. You can accomplish plenty and still want to visit your 71st country, learn a third profession, or start something that simply didn’t exist in your life before. Sometimes the horizon is more interesting than the ladder.
WHAT IF?
Sometimes it’s enough just to see what happens. What if you sign up for a wine tasting knowing absolutely nothing about wine? What if you go to a city just because you like its name? Or learn a phrase in a language you’ll probably never need? Life is actually a pretty interesting game when you stop demanding some grand meaning from every move.
THAT’S ALLOWED TOO.
Not every day has to be productive. Even a holiday doesn’t have to be lived with maximum efficiency. You can come to Rome and sleep until noon, even though, technically, Rome is right outside your window. You can spend Sunday doing absolutely nothing and leave a hundred messages in your work chats unread. Sometimes you’re simply tired. The world can wait.
Bespoke journeys built around you.
I design individual trips around your interests, pace, dates and wishes: route, hotels, restaurants, experiences and logistics. You tell me what matters to you. I turn it into a journey worth taking.
I select only the places, restaurants, wineries and experiences worth your time. Then I build the journey around more than a route: its rhythm, flow, group dynamics and details. Because putting everything beautiful you found on Google into one itinerary doesn’t make it an author-led journey.
Travel with Alena, who knows every detail of her itineraries and puts her reputation behind the experience.
Mentoring and practical consulting for those building a career or business in travel.
We work through six stages: concept, itinerary, finances, positioning, sales and group management. We build your project piece by piece instead of spending months talking about how much you want to start.
